A determined Hurstwood team came to East Lodge Park and produced a battling display that almost shocked the high flying Hurricanes. After creating a number of chances in the first few minutes Hurricanes were soon 2 - 0 down. Hurstwood created a well worked team goal and punished some slack team defending. Chad pulled one back before half time. A stern team talk at half time focusing on talking, passing, thinking and finishing led to an improved performance in the second half. Chad completed his hatrick and a surging run and cross by Sam was finished by Spenser at the far post. A 4 - 2 come back looks good on paper but Hurstwood were alaways in the game and could easily have ended up with a draw. The gnome will be living next to Chad's TV for the week. An excellent first half of the season sees us in second place. Keet it up boys.
