On a blustery Sunday morning East Lodge U10 Hurricanes battled past a determined Fleur de Lys team to continue their unbeaten run to 7 victories in a row. As the half way point of the season approaches it was important to do well against our local rivals who were only 2 points behind us. A shakey start from East Lodge was soon replaced by a strong team effort with good chances created at both ends. With a 0 - 0 score at half time it was there for both teams to win. A little bit of magic from Harry R with a strong run and fierce shot (in off the post) got us the much needed goal. The rest of the game was great with both teams playing good football and having numerous attempts at goal. Again East Lodge create a number of good chances but failed to make the goalie make too many saves. Luckily Fleurs were the same! At the end of the match we congratulated the opposition and were pleased with the victory. Although there were many good displays Spenser was the man of the match for keeping one of their danger men quiet.
